Alexandra Lopez Iglesias is a Los Angeles-based artist whose exquisite yet powerful artwork merges uncensored personal stories with science, data and maps.

Often causing a “quiet observation”, Alex’s painstakingly detailed hand drawings display the rawness of human experience surrounded and supported by unseen forces in the world around us.

Alex has an MFA in Design from the University of Texas at Austin and is also a licensed architect.

When she is not drawing teeny tiny lines or researching things like stardust, chemical reactions or neurons (or anything seemingly random that informs her art), she and her husband are chasing after their two very active kids, or building castles out of Legos that dolls and kitties temporarily inhabit until being mercilessly destroyed.
